Well, before proceeding I would like to acknowledge that the thoughts and views put out here are purely mine and may look irrational to few out there !!! Well, I am not challenging anyone's ideas and beliefs !!!

Well, before proceeding check out some photos from which i downloaded from a website. The comments made by the owner of the photos has been put in quotes :
"On October 6, 2009 my friends and I went to Johnson Road to familiarize ourselves with the area. We took 20 photos and every photo was picture-perfect, no defects or discoloration. On October 8, 2009, at approximately 9:15PM, we went to Johnson Road and began taking photos. For the next week, we took approximately 120 photos of the area. Many of the photos are normal, absolutely nothing that could be considered paranormal in any way. About 10 percent of the photos are mysterious. These photos reveal what appears to be paranormal activity: apparitions, mists and orbs.
None of the photos have been altered or photoshopped in any way, other than details and copyright notice added via Picasa 3. Nobody was smoking when these photos were taken. I held my breath when taking these photos so that it wouldn't be accidentally photographed. The photos were taken in pitch black (no street lights), and all flashlights were turned off when these photos were taken. We didn't see any mist or anything, until we looked at the LCD screen. I'd also like to note that there are no streams or lakes in the vicinity.
A few other details that I would like to add: when we went to Johnson Road, we left the bad attitude at home, we went with good intentions and we made it clear that we weren't there to cause any harm. Well, it has been widely believed that ghosts are a product of an hallucinating mind. Well, it do holds true for many cases but not in my case atleast.
The incident of my life which changed my outlook & my beliefs about ghosts/ spirits happened when i was in class 5. I was in my grandparents home then. They were having this "Raas" festival where people organize drama on the life of various God-Goddesses popularly known as "Vaona" in Assamese.
So, coming directly to the point, a person was believed to be "possessed" by a bad spirit because he started acting weird all of a sudden.
Weird Symptoms he showed :
1. Red Eyes
2. Dilated Pupils
3. Change in the tone of his Voice.
So i was present when the spirit possessed the person. So, people all of a sudden became hyper-excited and began howling. So, a local so-called "tantrik" (One who can control spirits) was called and was introduced to the 'possessed' person. The 'tantrik' then asked some of his followers to tie the person to a bed with the help of metal chains.
Then he picked up some peacock feathers and some sort of dried plants and started thrashing the 'possessed soul' with them vigorously. He questioned the spirit why he possessed this man and he gave some ridiculous answer which i will be not be sharing with you, friends ! Also his voice was of the lowest frequency i have ever heard.
Till here, the abnormal activity can be justified with various medical terms or just by stating that : Dissociative identity disorder.......
But the next series of activities can't be justified with any governing laws of physics.
So, what happened next is just out of the world. The 'Tantrik' asked the spirit to leave the body. After many "so-called" thrasings, the spirit finally agreed to leave the body. The "tantrik" asked the spirit to leave a physical proof that he is leaving the body.
THE SPIRIT SAID THAT HE WILL BREAK THE WOODEN DOOR AS SOON AS HE LEAVES.
Additional Information :
1. The wooden door was nearly 1 meter away from where the person was tied..
2. The door was nearly 6 cms in thickness.
And Finally a minute of silence was broken by the blasting of the door, as if somebody has pumped a barrel of shotgun into that door.
I stood their bewildered and shocked as everybody who was in that room.
Thats how i define PARANORMAL ACTIVITY....
